This is a set (left and right) of cab mount chop plates that fits the 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra, 2008-2021 Toyota Sequoia and 2008-2021 200 Series Toyota Land Cruiser.
When adding larger tires onto any of these vehicles, the first rubbing issues will occur on the cab mount while turning. This is located at the rear of the front wheel wells. The solution to this problem is to trim the cab mount back and replace the trimmed section with a new plate that gives more tire clearance. Our cab mount chop plates are the only ones on the market that are notched to allow tighter fitment around the cab mount bolt. This allows you to tuck this plate further back and run 37" tires at any lift height without rubbing on the body mount! We also have made a very thorough article that shows how to install these plates as well as covering every detail required to fit 37" tires on your 2007+ Tundra, Sequoia or Land Cruiser. Purchased a high clearance bumper kit for my son’s 2nd generation Tacoma. He had almost zero welding experience and thought this would be a great crash course. I am pleased to say I was right. The bumper came out great. The precision of the cuts made tacking it a piece of cake and all the external seam welds get ground smooth anyway, so it was a great place to work on his technique. I highly recommend this project for a great bumper as well as a great learning experience.

Fantastic bumper, even for a novice welder. I really liked how all the pieces just fit together, and the locating tabs were also a big help. The one improvement I would make is to allow a little more room to access the inside of the bumper, or at least slightly larger access holes. Getting the license plate mounted was impossible for me, and the winch mount bolts were difficult. Aside from that, I love it!

The small shop that can AND DOES!!! A project type that always has challenges and no surprise I did. Bandon and the Coastal Offroad team were extremely supportive, service was excellent & responsive, and the product after several off-road excursions and a 10,000 km touring lap from Alberta down the entire Pacific Coast Hwy to Baja Mexico in the fall confirmed the bumpers performed to expectation!
