This is our new swing out position locking system. It can be added to any of our existing swing outs dating back to 2017 and provides an extra level of retention to prevent your swing outs from unintentional movement when parked on an incline. This kit includes the stainless steel locking plate, T-handle spring pin, and a mild steel tab to weld the spring pin to your existing swing out frame. The stainless steel locking plate has 2 open positions and can be adjusted so that your swing outs stop exactly where you want them to. The clamping force of the main swing out pivot bolt is enough to hold the stainless steel plate in place. Or, for additional holding strength the stainless locking plate comes pre-cut with a pilot hole to allow you to drill a set screw into the hinge bracket.
•Stainless Steel Construction eliminates possibility of rust
•Contains 2 Open Positions and a wide adjustment range to ensure your swing outs stop exactly where you want them to.

Purchased a high clearance bumper kit for my son’s 2nd generation Tacoma. He had almost zero welding experience and thought this would be a great crash course. I am pleased to say I was right. The bumper came out great. The precision of the cuts made tacking it a piece of cake and all the external seam welds get ground smooth anyway, so it was a great place to work on his technique. I highly recommend this project for a great bumper as well as a great learning experience.

Fantastic bumper, even for a novice welder. I really liked how all the pieces just fit together, and the locating tabs were also a big help. The one improvement I would make is to allow a little more room to access the inside of the bumper, or at least slightly larger access holes. Getting the license plate mounted was impossible for me, and the winch mount bolts were difficult. Aside from that, I love it!

The small shop that can AND DOES!!! A project type that always has challenges and no surprise I did. Bandon and the Coastal Offroad team were extremely supportive, service was excellent & responsive, and the product after several off-road excursions and a 10,000 km touring lap from Alberta down the entire Pacific Coast Hwy to Baja Mexico in the fall confirmed the bumpers performed to expectation!
